Hillcrest Care seeks to provide a stable, secure and supportive environment, in which the people we care for can develop the skills and confidence necessary to help them fulfil their potential.
Hillcrest offers 39 and 52 week residential care for looked after children in England and Wales, alongside fully registered DCSF schools which offer full curriculum coverage through qualified teachers. Hillcrest also operate national fostering services, specialist education for children with an autistic spectrum condition (ASC) (including Asperger's syndrome) and for individulas with learning disabilities.
About Us
Hillcrest, established in 1994, is one of the few larger child care groups which is still in private hands and has a real focus on the outcomes for our looked after children.
With ten specialist children’s homes in England and Wales catering for looked after children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, Hillcrest also run six fully registered DCSF schools which provide full curriculum coverage through qualified teachers and support staff.
Hillcrest operates Fostering Services nationwide with very low placement breakdowns, brought about as a result of carefully selected placements, centred on the needs of the young person placed.
Hillcrest Learning Disability Services have created some pioneering and innovative projects including, residential homes for adults, supported living with domicilary care and registered residential children's homes supporting children up to and during their transition to adult services.
