Beachlands
Hillcrest Beachlands is an Ofsted Registered children’s home registered for six young men, between the ages of 14 to 18 yrs.
Philosophy of care
Hillcrest Beachlands offers 52-week, long term holistic care for young men aged 14-18 with emotional behavioural difficulties, who have reached a level of development which would mean that they are ready for a more independent style of living.
The home provides them with all the necessary skills to make a successful transition towards living independently and is an ideal placement for young people needing their final years in the care system.
Education
Young people who live at Hillcrest Beachlands will attend a range of external educational provisions including local schools and colleges.
Activities
Young people placed at Hillcrest Beachlands have access to a wide range of recreational, sporting and cultural activities that they can choose to take part in. Both small group activities and individual activities are available. We use a wide range of community facilities that young people can be supported to access.
Admissions
Wherever possible admissions should be planned and involve all family and professionals so as to ensure each placement has the best possible start. Emergency referrals can be considered in certain circumstances.
