“Hillcrest Fostercare is a very professional agency and we have valued their help in identifying placements for Surrey children over the ten years we have been working together”.  Surrey County Council Children’s Services

Hillcrest Care is a long established company offering a range of care services including homes with education for young people as well as services for adults with learning disabilities. In 1998 Hillcrest Care decided to extend its range of provision from residential care to include a fostering service to meet the needs of children requiring placements in a family environment.

Hillcrest’s Fostering Service employs specialist, experienced fostering staff who are responsible for the recruitment, training, assessment and support of foster carers.

By using fully qualified and experienced social workers, Hillcrest’s reputation with Local Authority Children’s Services departments is high. This is vital for ensuring that appropriate referrals are received, realistic plans are made for the young people, and stable placements are established.

Hillcrest Fostercare is inspected and registered by Ofsted and has consistently achieved high standards of care including an “outstanding” Ofsted rating in 2007.

Hillcrest recognises that fostering is a demanding job and we ensure that foster carers are supported by their own designated social worker who is available to give advice 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Foster carers also have extensive opportunities for their own training and development.
