Bank Residential Care Worker - Pentwyn - Temporary Part Time (Pentwyn)
Salary: TBC Per annum
Hillcrest Pentwyn School is registered & approved by the Welsh Assembly Government as a residential special school for boys with significant social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The school is also a registered home with the Care & Social Services Inspectorate for Wales (CSSIW). Hillcrest Pentwyn offers both 39 and 52 week placements for a maximum of 15 boys aged 11-17.
At Hillcrest we support the recruitment of a team of bank workers who can be called at short notice to cover annual leave, sickness, training etc. The benefits of working on a casual basis include:

We need reliable bank staff who have the skills and attributes to be able to provide care to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Previous experience of working with children and young people, either paid or voluntary is beneificial but not essential. Having the ability to be a good role model is essential along with qualities such as resilience, personal boundaries, confidence, written/verbal communication skills. A full UK driving licence is essential
