Training and Development

At Hillcrest, training and developing staff is key to delivering our high quality services.

Training is vital in ensuring the company meets its statutory obligations and that employees gain the necessary skills and knowledge to support them to perform effectively in their various roles.

Our policy is one of an ongoing commitment from employer and employee in developing relevant skills and knowledge to enhance performance and service delivery.

A comprehensive range of service specific training opportunities are available to our employees each year.

Each employee’s training and development journey starts with a full induction linked to the Children’s Workforce Development Council standards for residential child care and the Skills for Care Induction standards for our adult services.
