Vernon
Hillcrest Vernon is a residential home for up to twelve people of either gender aged between 18 and 65 yrs with moderate to severe learning disabilities and who may also have physical disabilities, sensory impairment or specific health needs. The home seeks to provide long term care and support with maximum independence.
The house is located in the West Sussex coastal town of Littlehampton, in a quiet residential road adjacent to the local bowls and tennis club. The surrounding area is very flat which makes it ideal for people using wheelchairs or with restricted mobility.

At Hillcrest we aim to exceed any minimum standards laid down by legislation and will work to commonly accepted standards of good practice adhering to O'Brien's Five Accomplishments through person centred planning approaches to support planning, evaluation and review of individual needs, wishes and aspirations.

Clients living at Hillcrest Vernon are encouraged and empowered to take an active part in their community and access mainstream leisure pursuits and interests. Individual support plans can include access to day centres, colleges or adult education classes, should the person wish to attend.
Care fees
Our standard care package aims first and foremost to provide a placement in which the person's development, needs and wishes are catered for in a homely environment. Care fees are therefore costed according to assessed need and individual requirements.
