Two of Hillcrest’s Hampshire homes have recently received Outstanding in their latest Ofsted Reports.

Poppy Lodge and Hillcrest Hayling have undergone many changes within the past year to improve the service and level of care they provides. Thanks to the hard work and perseverance of all the staff teams both homes have been duly awarded.

The homes continue to promote positive learning experiences for the young people and staff teams continue to strive to further develop and improve the quality of care they provide.

Hillcrest is pleased to announce that two of our Oxfordshire homes; Hillcrest Steps and The Bartons, have received an Outstanding rating in their latest Ofsted Inspections.

Hillcrest Slinfold comprises a school and three children’s homes for boys aged 11- 17 yrs, offering 52-week care and education. It is set in beautiful countryside close to the Sussex/Surrey border.

The Bartons and Sandilands received Outstanding in their latest Ofsted Reports.

The Bartons received an outstanding rating for every one of the seven categories, including Culture and Diversity, with no recommendations.

The staff team are really pleased and see it as a great reward for the effort that has been put in. There was positive feedback from the inspector over the way the boys contributed through feedback and showing the inspector around the home.

Hillcrest Sandilands received its 2nd Outstanding rating. Coleen Ashman, Home Manager said:

“Myself and the staff team are extremely happy with this result. We put this success down to hard work, commitment and a child focused approach. We strive to maintain a high standard of care for the young people at Sandilands.”
